I am back to my normal life (which is not a bad thing!). I basked in the sun for almost two weeks. I did nothing except to sleep, eat and go to the beach. I usually explore the area I am holidaying in but not this time. I just decided to chill. The sun shone every day. The stretch of golden sand lay before me every day. The sound of the ebb and flow of the waves was hypnotically relaxing. I left my cyber world of internet and computer packages, left it all behind and fully engaged with the physical world.
I have never been on a European beach so beautiful. The beach was surrounded by awesome cliffs that were so tall they seemed to pierce the clouds in the sky. The waves had eroded the rocks and etched patterns into the stone. One rock looked like a face and another the body of a person. My imagination really ran riot as I surveyed the beauty of the area.
I think it is an awful pity that many of us only have a month or less to enjoy their lives. Life is so full of beauty. Let us try to enjoy at least a few minutes of our day every day.
